Who's responsible for your data

Fernando González Alarcón (NIF 47560416-G) — contact: fernandoglzalarcon@gmail.com. I'm the sole person responsible for deciding what happens with any data this site processes.

What this site does NOT do

No accounts, no sign-ups, no contact forms, no comments, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies, no tracking of any kind. There's no database behind this site collecting information about you.

What this site does process

Like any website, the hosting server automatically generates a technical access log for every visit: IP address, date and time, pages requested, and browser/device information. I don't collect this myself — it's a byproduct of how web hosting works, generated and held by my hosting provider, Hostinger, on my behalf.

Why, and on what legal basis

This processing exists only to keep the site running securely — spotting abuse, diagnosing errors, preventing attacks. Its legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and securing the site; there's no other purpose behind it.

How long it's kept

Through my hosting panel, I can view raw access logs for a rolling window of up to 7 days — that's a limit on what's visible to me, not a confirmed statement of how long Hostinger retains the underlying data. Hostinger's own privacy policy describes its general retention principle as keeping data "for as long as is necessary to provide the service," without publishing an exact retention period for server logs or backups.

Where it's processed

Both the hosting server and its backups are located in the European Union — server in France, backups in Lithuania. No data leaves the EU, so there's no international transfer to disclose here.

Who else sees it

Only my hosting provider, Hostinger, which processes this data on my behalf as required to deliver the hosting service. I don't share, sell, or otherwise pass on any of this information to anyone else.

Fonts

This site used to load its typefaces from Google's font service, which meant your browser made a direct request to Google's servers. That's no longer the case: all fonts are now hosted directly on this site, so no data is shared with Google or any other third party for that purpose.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Spain's LOPDGDD, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Since this site collects essentially nothing beyond the technical logs described above, there is rarely anything to act on — but if you have a question or a request, write to fernandoglzalarcon@gmail.com. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe your rights haven't been respected.

If this changes

If Proyecto Brena's portfolio dashboard (Cartera) becomes a real, interactive feature — for example, if it ever requires an account or collects any data from visitors — this policy will be updated to reflect exactly what's collected and why, before that feature goes live.
